SasuNaru:Porphyria

"Nobles Naruto and his lover Sasuke both suffer from porphyria, and at that time, there was no cure for it. They had sensitive skin, and hurt most of the time. And to relieve the pain they drank what they believed could alleviate it - blood."


Done! I thought of this after we discussed porphyrins in Biochem class and I thought I need to draw a Naruto piece showing them in "old" clothes and something with a story. Porphyria and its relation to vampirism was also discussed and that many were killed during the old times because of this sickness. And up until now, there is no cure.

I wanted the piece to look as simple and pale as it can get. There's this bland feeling I want it to have though I don't know why. Or maybe because I was listening to Saosin's
"They Perch On Their Stilts Pointing And Daring Me To Break Custom" ...


Naruto doesn't have whiskers here because that makes him look wild for me, so there.
And Sasuke...mmmmhh, I tried to fix his face millions of times but he still looks *erhmm* kind but brooding. But most of all I wanted Naruto's EYES to stand out. I tried to imitate my doll's eyes with Naruto but I'm not sure if I did well bec. the doll is back at home.
